Waterland Real Estate is a professional Dutch real estate company focused on investing in and developing predominantly residential real estate. Founded in 2014 as a joint venture of Feike Siewertsz van Reesema and a foreign investment fund. In the years since its establishment, Waterland Real Estate has increasingly focused on area development, with a focus on sustainable and affordable rental and owner-occupied housing.

Richard Kaagman

Richard Kaagman has extensive experience within real estate developments and specialises in three sectors: healthcare real estate, conceptual office developments ‘the new way of working’ and inner-city redevelopments. His vision on realising suitable housing for the ageing target group of house seekers is widely praised and implemented in many locations.

Richard Kaagman is chairman of the Foundation Affordable Ateliers Amsterdam. They realise incubators for starting entrepreneurs. He is also a member of the Association of Dutch Project Development Companies (NEPROM) and a member of FIABCI-Netherlands, an international network organisation for real estate professionals.

Feike Siewertsz van Reesema

Feike Siewertsz van Reesema has a long and extensive experience within real estate investment, development & asset management. Feike is a member of the Supervisory Board of Haag Wonen. He is a member of the Association of Dutch Project Development Companies (NEPROM).

Feike Siewertsz van Reesema is chairman of the Housing Working Group of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), he is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the Watertorenberaad, in which members from different disciplines (government and social domain) come together to improve processes in area development.
